Description: duration 8 days, mahogany veneered case with linear ebonized fruit wood inlays, seconds beating laterndluhr with day date and seconds dials. The movement has an unusual crutch mechanism which runs in front of the plates with openings for the seconds, minutes and hour arbors and also has a complex beat adjustment mechanism. This allows the pendulum to be in front of the weights. The under dial work is of particularly fine quality and the plates are relatively thick and separated by six nicely shaped pillars.
Provenance: Prince Elemér Lónyai, Castle Oroszvár (Karlburg, Rusovce – SK)
