The wait will soon be over! Our publication

“DIE WAND- UND BODENSTANDUHREN DER HABSBURGERMONARCHIE 1780-1850”,

edited by Stephan Andréewitch, Alexander Graef and Paul Archard will soon go to press after about 16 years of work!

The two-volume publication provides over 1,300 pages of detailed information on the development of wall and floor grandfather clocks in the Habsburg Monarchy of the 18th and 19th centuries and their makers.

Volume 1 contains on almost 800 pages an extensive catalog with over 400, mostly unpublished pendulum clocks. In addition, Volume 2 forms a comprehensive directory of clockmakers active in the Habsburg Empire between 1600 and 1900 with over 14,000 entries, including a large number of previously unknown masters and workshops.

An indispensable compendium on the classical wall and floor clocks of the Habsburg Monarchy as well as an important reference work for all those interested in clocks!

We also cordially invite you to our book presentations, planned in St. Pölten and Vienna. Dates will follow soon!
