Description: View of Prague from “Hasenburg” (today Hotel Nebozizek), in the foreground a secured hiking trail through a forest, behind it open fields and vineyards and the city with the prominent buildings of Hradčany and Malá Strana as well as the Old Town and New Town, separated by the Vltava River with the Charles Bridge
Comparable object: A watercolor on paper of almost the same size with a view of Prague from a comparable but slightly elevated position, signed “Tho. Ender.” is in the collection of the Liechtenstein Museum (Inv. Nr. GR 8508). Our depiction was probably created at the same time and may have been a preliminary work.
