Mahogany veneered case with maple stripe inlays, enamel dial with bright fire gilded bezel, spring suspended compensation, anchor escapement, micrometer beat adjuster, trapezoid plates, steel seconds beating pendulum, duration of 30 days.

Old Viennese porcelain, white and cobalt blue glaze, rich gold decoration, medallion with the painted scene: "Amor unarmed by Euphrosyne" after a painting of Angelika Kauffmann (1741-1807), maybe mediated by a print of Thomas Burke (1749-1815) in the Albertina (late 18th cent., after Pietro Metastasio’s poetry Le Grazie vendicate, 1735). Euphrosyne is the goddess of Joy and one of the “Three Graces”. She is the daughter of Zeus and Eurynome. Very good condition.
